Tree Decorating

I have been wanting to make a gingerbread house with Brooke this year, but thought it might be a bigger project to take on with her. So, her aunt Melissa had a great idea and we decided to decorate trees instead.

Polar Express

For Thanksgiving we went and stayed in Heber Valley and had the chance to ride the Polar Express. Brooke was so excited, for weeks she would tell everyone she was going to ride the Polar Express train. She had so much fun!

Summer Fun

This Summer was busy, but we had a lot of fun. Here are some of the Highlights!

Can I say, my sister, Jessica is awsome! I love her to pieces. Jessica, Brooke and I were looking for a new summer nightgown for Brooke. Brooke decided on one with a couple of the Disney princesses on it. Jessica loved it so much, partically because she still secretly likes Sleeping Beauty, that she had to get one too. She thought it would be fun this summer to have a sleepover and the two of them could wear their nightgowns together. So, as a good mom I had to get a picture of them in their new nightgowns. What Pretty Pretty Princesses!

lions and tigers and bears oh my! "A day at the Zoo"

Jon and I took Brooke and Kayla to the Zoo. Brooke had been looking forward to going all week and couldn't wait to see the lions, snakes, elephants and zebras with Kayla. The weather was perfect and we all had an enjoyable time. As we went through the zoo, the girls spotted the carousel and had fun selecting their animal to ride.

The girls had the chance to meet Miss Utah 2008, Kayla Barclay. Kayla thought it was pretty neat that she had the same name as her.
