Happy New Year! - Moulton Family Newsletter 2013

Happy New Year to all our family and friends!
Here is our family update from this past year:

Brooke turned 7 in December and is growing up too fast. She began 1st grade this year and enjoys every minute of it.
She is in the first grade math club and likes quizzing us with math problems trying to stump us.  Brooke loves improv dancing, as she calls it, and can all ways be found downstairs working on her latest routine. When we ask her if she would like to take dance lessons she tells us she would rather make up her own moves and take Karate instead.  Brooke loves playing with her sister and absolutely adores her little brother.

Alayna turned 3 in November. She is going to Joy school this year with some of her neighbor friends and has really enjoyed it. She likes being a big girl like her sister. Alayna is definitely our fashionista and loves coming up with her own outfits and finding the accessories to go with it. Alayna loves to sing, dance, draw and do anything that involves playing outside. I love how fiercely loyal she is to her sister and brother. She always wants to protect them and reminds us by saying, "that is my sister you have to be nice to her." Alayna says the funniest things and always brings a smile to my face.

Ethan, our newest addition to the family, was born on July 12th. and weighed 8lbs. 9oz. This January he will be 6 months old and I can't believe how fast time has gone by. Ethan is always happy and loves to give smiles. He is just learning how to rollover and you can see he just wants to explore anything and everything. We have loved having our little boy and are so blessed to have him in our family.
Jon is still working with Rocky Mountain Power and enjoys what he does. Between his church calling as Elders Quorum President and traveling a bit more for work he is been kept quiet busy this year. He loves to play with his girls and take them on daddy daughter dates to places like the trampoline park and Coldstone. I can tell Jon is glad to have another guy in the house too. I will sometimes catch him going off with Ethan having little conversations with him when the girls of the house are having one of our moments. It always makes me smile when I see them having some guys time.

I have loved being at home with my kids. They constantly keep me on my toes, buy I love watching them grow up.  I still love to paint and create, when I get the time, and it is always fun when my girls want to do it with me. This year I had to have an unexpected surgery and feel to blessed to have had all the love and support of family and friends

We have been truly blessed this year. Thank you to all our family and friends that have helped us through all the ups and downs, even the unexpected ones, this year. We couldn't have done it with out you.

We hope this coming year brings you and your family happiness and joy!

Love,
The Moulton's
